PTCL still profitable despite financial crisis, says Walid Irshaid …

Pin It ISLAMABAD (March 13 2009): The president of PTCL, Walid Irshaid has said that PTCL was still one of the most profitable National organisations, despite all economic and financial crisis and back draws. Addressing the inaugural of the new NPC building, alongside president NPC (National press Club), Tariq Chaudhry, general secretary Afzal Butt, and other luminaries, including SEVP PTCL Sikandar Naqi, EVP Ali Qadir Gilani.

Walid Irshaid expressed the companys willingness and readiness to tackle any impending challenges with preparedness. He said that Company was focusing on provision of latest technology and services to its clients and telecom industry in Pakistan had a bright future and prospects, while further investments in the sector were vibrantly promising. Earlier the president National press club, Tariq Chaudhry took the PTCL dignitary around the press club, and briefed him about its various sections.

Walid Irshaid also assured press club about his full co-operation and assistance and during the lunch hosted in his honour by NPC also announced a grant of Rs 10 million, DSL Internet services, IPTV and other facilities. He said that PTCL would continue to work for betterment of media in Pakistan, and also lauded media services rendered during the last few years.
