ISLAMABAD: Telenor Pakistan is further expanding its vast network and upgrading its infrastructure, which would enable the service provider to reach out to new subscribers, improve customer experience, and introduce additional feature-rich services quickly and cost effectively.
Nokia Siemens Networks was awarded a frame contract on Tuesday to undertake this network expansion over a period of five years. “The mobile space in Pakistan is intensely competitive, and the low ARPU levels combined with acute power shortages add to the challenge. As we started planning for our future growth, we aimed to choose our technology infrastructure and solution partner, carefully,” said Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Telenor Pakistan Irfan Wahab Khan.
