Ans: There are two type of routing features, Scheduled routing and un-scheduled routing

Ans: You can receive incoming calls on different times at different locations. For scheduled routing you need to call 1236 or 080080800 helpline and talk to the CSR. For unscheduled routing, you can manage by dialing 1229 IVR and after giving your UPT number followed by a password, dial 22# for incoming call management and then press 2 for setting forwarding numbers

Q14. On how many maximum destinations on which I can route my incoming calls?
Ans: Six (06)

Q15. Can I restrict unwanted incoming calls?
Ans: Yes, by using the incoming call screening function your incoming calls can be restricted. By dialing 1229 IVR and following the instructions. You can screen out a max of 6 numbers.

Q16. Can I restrict unwanted outgoing calls?
Ans: Yes, by using the outgoing call screening function your outgoing calls can be restricted. Using 1229 IVR a maximum of 6 numbers can be screened out.

Q17. How can I authorize specific group of people only to talk to me?
Ans: With incoming call security feature enabled on your UPT#, every time your callers call you, system will ask them for a pin code. Only after entering that PIN code they will be able to talk to you.

Q18. How can I secure my outgoing calls through PIN code?
Ans: A unique 4 digit PIN code allows you to secure your outgoing calls. This PIN code can be changed at any time using 1229 IVR.

Q19. How this service is different from normal call forwarding Service?
Ans: Normal Call forwarding is normally unscheduled and can forward a call to any one destination.

Q20. How can I set forwarding numbers for this service?
Ans: Just dial 1229 from your Landline, Vfone or mobile after giving your UPT number followed by a password, then dial 22# for incoming call management and then press 2 for setting forwarding numbers.

Q21. Can my calls be routed out of city or even out of country?
Ans: Yes, calls can be routed to any city in Pakistan. Call forwarding to international numbers is not allowed.

Q22. Can I out dial from this UPT number with the same CLI?
Ans: Yes, Just dial 1229 from your telephone set after giving your UPT number followed by a password, IVR will ask you to enter the number you want to dial along with the area code and then press # key.
