ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL) would provide all communication facilities in the new building of Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) including voice data and an agreement is likely to be signed within two days.
A high-level delegation of PTCL, led by its Senior Executive Vice President Naveed Saeed, held a meeting with the Managing Director Aftab Chaudhry, ISE during its visit.
Aftab on the occasion said that a number of companies have been contacted to provide their services to ISE but the Board of Directors after thorough consultation decided to award the contract to PTCL, as it is not only a big company but providing quality services.
After interlinking Islamabad and Lahore Stock Exchanges, better results were produced, he added. Naveed Saeed said that the PTCL is adopting new research activities aimed at meeting the challenges of modern world and to ensure all facilities to its consumers.
General Manager Corporate, Zahid Mehmood while giving briefing regarding the project said that fibre, copper and wireless would be used in the proposed service and there would be zero chances of service disruption.
