The 2nd Global Telecommunication Congress 2009 (TeleCON 2009) with a special emphasis on “Emerging Technology – Challenges & Opportunities” is being organized on April 25, 2009 in Lahore by SHAMROCK Conferences International, and the expected support & patronage of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).TeleCON 2009, second in series after the successful inaugural conference held in April 2008, has been designed to bring Industry Specialists and Speakers from the Government and private sectors to discuss Challenges & Opportunities of the fast growing sector; alternative strategies for a regulatory framework, business-friendly environment and consumer satisfaction. An improvement in Foreign Direct Investments during this period of economic challenges is also intended to be critically examined.
