Thousands of mobile phones were also distributed amongst retail partners. 150,000 retailers from all over the country had a chance to become eligible for the lucky draw by boosting their sale by 10% in the following month. The scheme was introduced for Telenor Pakistan Retail Partners benchmarking the sale of August 2008. The calendar month’s sales were carefully examined by a committee especially designed to decide eligibility for the retail partners for the lucky draw.
Achieving 10 percent boosted sale on the target in October-November, the winners became eligible for a lucky draw. There were a total of six winners from all regions of Pakistan.
