PTCL working on improving services

Pin It HYDERABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) is improving its services for expanding the customer base with affordable tariffs.

PTCL Regional General Manager Zulfikar Ursani made these remarks while talking to newsmen at a reception at the Hyderabad Press Club.Press Club President Junaid Khanzada, Secretary Mahesh Kumar, Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s PTCL Sub-committee Chairman Abdul Rehman Rajput and PTCL officials attended the programme.Ursani said three types of services would be provided for the consumers through a new package and test transmission of IPTV had started while regular service would be launched next month. He said efforts were under way to reduce the tariff for these three facilities so that it could be availed by ordinary people as well as those residing in far-flung areas.He said the PTCL was spending heavily on small exchanges to widen the broadband base and its customer centres had also been converted into one-stop shops where various facilities were extended to the customers.On the occasion, he also announced free broadband connection and IPTV for the Hyderabad Press Club.
