Islamabad—The Pakistan Telecom Communication Company limited (PTCL) is a world-class telecom providing international standard services to its clients, PTCL Senior Executive Vice President Human Resource and Administration Mazhar Hussain said. Addressing to the staff in Mega Incentive Plan Road Show here on Sunday, he asked PTCL staffers to work hard to keep up its high marked image.
PTCL Executive Vice President (HR) Tahir Mushtaq, Executive Vice President Business Zone North Jamil A Khawaja, Regional General Managers, other senior officers and staff of Islamabad and Rawalpindi Telecom Regions were also present in this Road Show.
The Senior Executive Vice President (HR & Admin) Mazhar Hussain said that we have been facing the challenges of providing better and fault free State of the Art Technology Telecom services to our valued customers throughout the country.
He said as a result of out throat competition, we should achieve our set targets regarding faults rectification, providing new phone connections, DSL broadband, Smart IPTV and other value added services by of dint of hard work, devotion and professional abilities. He showed full confidence of the capabilities, skill and innovative PTCL staff who can steer their esteemed organization upto the mark of achievement of goals.
The SEVP (HR A) also listened to the problems and noted the proposals of the staff. He promised to pay full attention to resolve the genuine problems of the staff. At the occasion, he said that PTCL has a plan of mega incentives for its employees including cash prizes and other incentives. He said that already PTCL had been launched a programme of giving monetary benefits, tool kits, wireless hand sets phones, cycles and motorcycles to its field staff.
He said that by providing all these facilities to them, the mobility increased and efficiency improved. Jamil A. Khawaja, Executive Vice President Business Zone North presented progress report of the Zone. He affirmed regarding achievement of targets of providing fault free services to the valued customers and other given targets of Business Zone North by the cooperation of devoted and hard working staff. He also thanked the PTCL top management of giving confidence and full support for running the business activities of the Business Zone North Islamabad.
PTCL Business Zone North Islamabad set up Customers Facilitation Camps in Islamabad and Rawalpindi for providing telephones services for the valued customers at their threshold. The valued customers were provided first hard information about PTCL services through banners, broachers and hand bills etc. These Customers Facilitation Camps worked from 9:30am to 5:30pm for extending telephones services and products to customers and attending to their complaints.
The spokesman said that the purpose of establishing these modern, state-of-the-art Customers Facilitation Camps was to facilitate customers and offer the entire spectrum of telecom- related services under one roof and at one place. The facilities that were available at these Customers Facilitation Camps include, such facilities as obtaining new telephone connections, booking of IPTV (PTCL SMART-TV), Digital Subscriber Line (DSL), Broadband Packages, selling PTCL Wireless V-fone connections and sets, wireless phone scratch cards / SIMs and other PTCL services, Different counters provided fast-track solutions to customers served by customer-friendly and highly trained staff. The valued customers showed much interest in purchasing of Wireless Local Loop (WLL) phones, Broadband Packages and Installation of new fixed line connections. Islamabad and Rawalpindi-based customers could lodge their complaints, relating to faulty phones, delays in installation of new telephone connections, non-delivery of phone bills, wrong billing and other telecom services.
