FIA starts crackdown on people selling mobile jammers…

Pin It LAHORE: In a crackdown on those selling mobile phone jammers, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials raided two different places on Hall Road, arrested three accused and seized eight jammers and other sophisticated equipment on Wednesday.
According to the officials, jamming a telecommunication service was illegal and on a request by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), action on a large scale had been initiated in Lahore and other major cities against those using or selling such devices.
Sources told Aaj Kal that intelligence agencies had started the operation after the PTA and the Interior Ministry got reports that terrorists were using jammers and other such devices. aaj kal report
